Rex Tabby
Accepted for: All rex- or curly-coated cats which allow tabby striping (mackerel)
Examples: Pic, Normal colors, Special colors
Created: June 2010
Info: Tabby for rex coats! In each furfile pair, the horizontal (-) striping is meant for the legs, face, and tail, while the vertical (|) striping is for the body. See the PKC tabby Docs page for exact placements.
Note that the underlying wavy texture shows up on some colors better than others - this is normal and accepted.
Fully-transparent, set transparency at 1
Semi-transparent. Set transparency to the tabby base color (the lighter color in the furfile) - 125, 45, or 15 - and place over the tabby BASE color of your choice. Can also be used non-transparently (set at 0)
Silver and cameo tabby. Semi-transparent at 125 - set the furfile over your desired STRIPE color. You can use my rex lilac (for silver) and rex ivory (for cameo) furfiles for areas of unstriped base-color
Light silver tabby (for anywhere that the combination of white + light grey/silver is accepted). Non-transparent, set at 0
Ivory+ivory for faint striping on the body (not the points) of tabby colorpoints/minks/etc. Non-transparent, set at 0
Small Assorted Tabby
Accepted for: All shorthaired and longhaired cats which allow tabby striping (mackerel and/or spotted)
Examples: Pattern, Colors 1, Colors 2
Created: May 2010
Info: A (huge) small/dense tabby set! Great for smaller-bodied breedfiles or torties/torbies/white-spotted cats where you would only see striping on a small area. There is a set of 5 patterns for each color: horizontal barring for legs/tail (1), slanted barring for downtails/neck markings/etc. (2), body mackerel (3), body broken mackerel (4), and body spotted pattern (5). See the PKC tabby Docs page for exact placements.
Semi-transparent at 125 - set the furfile over your desired STRIPE color
Plain light cream for areas of unstriped base color with the cameo set above (not currently accepted for any other use). Non-transparent, set at 0
Light silver tabby (for anywhere that the combination of white + light grey/silver is accepted). Non-transparent, set at 0
Ivory+ivory for faint striping on the body (not the points) of tabby colorpoints/minks/etc. Non-transparent, set at 0
Heavy Tabby
My longhair brindle furfiles can be used with an appropriate tabby base-color for black-striped heavy tabby. (See the Brindle furfile page)
Mackerel Tabby
Accepted for: All shorthaired and longhaired cats which allow tabby striping (mackerel)
Examples: Colors 1, Colors 2, Colors 3
Created: August 2009
Info: A directional mackerel tabby set! In each furfile pair, the horizontal (-) striping is meant for the legs, face, and tail, while the vertical (|) striping is for the body. See the PKC tabby Docs page for exact placements.
Note that the semi-transparent ones are meant to be set over the darker tabby stripe color (they already include the lighter base color), so where you see orange is where the STRIPE color will be.
Fully-transparent, set transparency at 1
Semi-transparent, set at 65. These furfiles work opposite of the usual - the tabby base-color is already in the furfile, and you are to set them over your desired STRIPE color.
For example, if you want black striping + dust base color (brown tabby), color your cat black and use the dust-based furfile
Semi-transparent (same as the above), but set transparency at 105 instead. For tabby combos where the lighter color is orange
Silver and cameo tabby. Semi-transparent at 65 - set the furfile over your desired STRIPE color
Plain light grey/silver and light cream for areas of unstriped base color with the silver and cameo sets above. Non-transparent, set at 0
Ivory+ivory for faint striping on the body (not the points) of tabby colorpoints/minks/etc. Non-transparent, set at 0
Ticked Tabby
My tipping furfiles can all be used in appropriate color combinations for Ticked tabby. (See the Tipping furfile page)
